I mentioned last year that I was in the studio with Zara McFarlane and now the album 'Arise' is out on Brownswood recordings. I was very pleased to be presented an L.P. and CD at our recent rehearsal. It also featured the superb production skills of drummer Moses Boyd. This record is a new direction and sound for the band. Very much Jamaican folk music inspired with a jazz sensibility. I was on piano, keyboards, Hammond Organ, melodica and even a few group vocal numbers can be found on the album.
